I served on the Board of Directors of ASIFA-Colorado from 2011 to 2016 and during that time we created several events to support animation students in the Denver area with competitions and cash prizes such as ANIMATE48 and the Graduation Animation Soirée. ASIFA – Colorado was established in 2001 as a non-profit organization devoted to cultivating and promoting the art, craft and profession of Animation all along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains and beyond. Today ASIFA can be described as an international network of numerous local ASIFA Chapters, which have developed their own local identities and special activities.
